DAY 2, SATURDAY, ATHENS
After we have
completed our passport control obligations we will be
greeted by our Homeric Tours director and transferred by our
private deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach to our Hotel. The
rest of the day will be at leisure.
DAY 3, SUNDAY, ATHENS (CITY TOUR)
After our complimentary full American buffet breakfast at our Hotel we will be greeted by Homeric Tours and along with our private air-conditioned motorcoach. We will begin our “Athens City Tour”. We will visit such sights as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, The Royal Palace and the Panathenian Stadium. We will also visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the world famous Acropolis and its Museum. We will drive through Patission Ave and Alexandras Ave. as well as Vas and Sofias Ave and Panepistimiou Ave. We will drive by and see the Academy, the University and the National Library then finally onto our hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure.

DAYS 4, MONDAY, CORINTH EPIDAURUS / NAUPLIA / MYCENAE / OLYMPIA
Corinth Canal (short Stop) Drive to Epidaurus (visit the archaeological site and the Theater, famous for its remarkable acoustics) and then on to Nauplia (short stop). Mycenae where you visit the archaeological site and then drive through the Central Peloponnese area passing the cities of Megalopolis and Tripolis. Arrive in Olympia.

DAY 5, TUESDAY, DELPHI
After breakfast visit the archaeological site and the museum in Olympia. Drive via Patras to Rion where you cross by car - ferry to Antirion and driving through Nafpaktos, arrive in Delphi. Visit the archaeological site. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight accommodations in Delphi.

DAY 6, WEDNESDAY, KALAMBAKA
After breakfast in the morning, visit the archeological site and the museum in Delphi and then drive through AMPHISSA, LAMIA and TRIKALA for an early evening arrival in KALAMBAKA for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7, THURSDAY, METEORA / THERMOPYLAE / ATHENS
In the morning visit the breathtaking METEORA. In the early afternoon start the drive back to ATHENS passing via THERMOPYLAE (visit) and KAMENA VOURA.

DAY 8, FRIDAY, CRUISE
Transfer by motorcoach from Athens to Flisvos Marina and embark on the cruise ship for your full day cruise.
Sail for the island of HYDRA. In Hydra you have time at leisure for strolling, shopping or swimming. In the early afternoon you will sail for the island of AEGINA, passing through the narrow strait
separating the Peloponnesian coast from the island of POROS. Lunch is served after sailing. Short visit of Poros. Upon arrival in Aegina you can either join the excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (extra cost) or walk around the main town. Finally, re-embark for the sail back to Flisvos Marina, Overnight in Athens hotel

AEGINA: The biggest island of the Saronic Gulf inhabited as from 2nd mil. B.C. with two important archaelogical sites, a large cathedral dedicated to St. Nectarios the last canonized Saint of the Greek Orthodox Church, a wonderful fish market, a unique fruit floating market, and an economy based on pistachio nuts. Why don`t you join the optional shore excursion and learn about the history of this fascinating island? This guided bus tour takes us to the early fifth century B.C. Doric Temple of Afaia, built on the top of the hill offering a magnificent view. Then proceed to the grandiose cathedral of St. Nectarios where his relics are kept. Free time to wonder around the little harbour town.
POROS: The smallest of the three islands, covered with pine and lemon trees, situated to the Peloponnesian peninsula. Enjoy a beautiful walk up to the clock tower and admire the panorama.
HYDRA: The "smartest" of the Greek islands, the favourite resort of the international Jet-Set, the unique architecture of its houses, the pedestrian narrow streets full of boutiques, exclusive jewelry and handicrafts, attracts both shoppers and photographers. The crystal clear waters will refresh the swimmer.
DAY 8, SATURDAY, ATHENS / USA
After your inclued breakfast you will be transfered to the airport for your flight home.
